There are now 4 Homework Clubs in operation, in the Cashmere area, offering before and after school care and a holiday programme for 2 weeks in every school holiday.
Sara is the manager and is a trained primary school teacher.
Homework Club is a voluntary after school program providing academic assistance for students. This club is held from 3:00 p.m. to 4:20 p.m. on Mondays and Wednesdays. The Homework Club meets in room 182, providing a quiet place to study and computer availability to assist students in completing assignments. There will be supervision and access to teachers and student tutors who have been trained to assist students in their studies.
The main goal of the Homework Club is to provide students with a quiet place to study and assist them with homework questions in order to instill good study habits, organizational skills, and a sense of accomplishment.
